Progressive Distributed and Parallel Similarity Retrieval of Large CT Image Sequences in Mobile Telemedicine Networks

Computed tomography image (CTI) sequence is essentially a time-series data that typically consists of large amount nearby and similar CTIs. Due to the high communication computational costs, it difficult perform progressive distributed similarity retrieval CTI (CTIS)s, particularly in resource-constraint mobile telemedicine network (MTN)s. In this paper, we present Dprs method—progressive parallel scheme for CTISs MTN. To best our knowledge, there little research on processing, especially Four supporting techniques (i.e., (1) PCTI-based measurement, (2) lightweight privacy-preserving strategy, (3) SSL-based distribution scheme, (4) UDI framework) are developed. The experimental evaluation indicates proposed method more than state art, with significant reduction response time.
